The digital age we live in is responsible for a great many advances but must also be held accountable for the dehumanisation and the loneliness we sometimes feel. As people drift further into new realms created by the digital world they seem to forget how important human contact is for finding themselves and their place in the world.
Angus Fisher has been involved in the Fine Arts for many years and has studied in a variety of fields, including graphic design, since leaving school in 2001. At the beginning of 2008 he started studying Fine Arts at the National Art School. He enjoys working in a variety of styles, mediums, and formats. He was recently involved in freelance mural–painting and has worked on a variety of projects from children’s rooms to public council works.
