Faith in the public to respond to the surfaces and environments that surround them.
Faith in creative people sharing their art freely.
Faith in a dialogue with those within our city.
…in art as a universal language.
As street artists it is not often that we work on what is smooth and clean, but rather, what is rough, worn and overlooked.
Renewal of Urban Decay is the work of three local street–artists from Sydney: Ears, Berry, and Striker. Together they are the trio behind Oh Really — a magazine which aims to inspire people and to push the arts forward and to motivate individuals to take action. The people of Oh Really get busy creatively, cataloguing the exciting things they see — be it on a wall, on canvas, digitally, in the darkroom or on the coffee–stained pages of a writer’s notepad.
