Faith is the delicate layer of strength which grows, covering and protecting the self from everyday turmoil, in the same way as skin would shield the human body against its surroundings. The texts on the statue are sourced from youths in Australia and Singapore who were encouraged to explore and share their ideas of faith in today’s world.
‘Faith is the sense of life, that sense by virtue of which man does not destroy himself, but continues to live on. It is the force whereby we live.’
